Cipherion grew out of one question: why does protecting sensitive data still depend on keys that can be stolen?
CipherionCPH-J-01Conversations about rising cyber threats and the future of encryption led to a simple observation: key-based encryption had become a hidden weak point. The goal became data protection that is lighter, smarter and ready for what comes next.
CipherionCPH-J-02What began as a college mini project explored keyless encryption. The prototype showed that sensitive data could be secured without storing encryption keys beside it.

The idea won the Smart India Hackathon 2024 (Software Edition) and was proposed to the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) for infrastructure-level data security.

Cipherion was selected for the first cohort of AVINYA, ACSEL Technology Forum's founder-first accelerator for early-stage AI startups. After 120 days of building with mentors, we presented at Demo Day on how enterprises can secure their data in an AI-first world.

After completing the first cohort of the AVINYA Accelerator, Cipherion was selected as one of ACSEL Technology Forum's first two portfolio companies, backed by a ₹1 crore investment. Our mentor through the programme was Anand Talwai.
